Assisted by past commodore John Davis. Great to see some multihulls come out to play. Intruder, a trimaran corrected out with the best time, but the Deale Trophy goes to Dark Star, a spin boat. The winner of the non-spin division is Merry-Ann. The weather cooperated, perfect wind conditions with WSW winds at 15 knots shifting to SW for the finish. We had 10 Boats participate including 3 multihulls. The multihull division was new this year and pretty exciting to see for our West Island race. This is one of SBCC’s most important Invitational races of the season and open to all SBCC members (both racers and cruisers) so please check it out in the yearbook and add it to your plans for next year.
