Although we had a delay of around 45 min, The 2018 Creepstakes finally started a litte before noon on Memorial Day with very light winds. Kevin Padden was our Race Committee and set up a short windward/leeward course to Babylon "9" and back. Many thanks to Kevin Padden for being our Race Committee. We had 8 boats start the race which is respectable considering attendance in recent years. Only one boat did not finish the race, that's right, yours truly.
It was actually a fun event and the sun came out for a while after the race. And, of course, the wind filled in when we were finished! Harry Manko on Full Circle finished third, Brian McLoughlin came in second and Marty O'Connell took first place honors. I would like to personally thank all of the skippers that came out and raced today. All in all it was a fun time.
