Nine boats showed up for the second extended season race. There was more wind than most of us expected. The racing got very interesting as the fleet was rounding the second mark of the course. I think that we'll leave the rest of the details for a "Racing Rules of Sailing" discussion at one of our off season meetings. There's just too much to write about here. 🙂
We'd like to welcome Scott Woodrick racing his Little Harbor 38 named Heritage for the first time this season. Glad that you were able to join us and we hope you will continue to race with us again next season. Congratulations on your fourth place finish.
Please continue running the RaceQs app during the extended season races. It's going to be required next season. It would have helped to sort out some questions that we had about this race and would have helped to speed up the race results reporting.
We intend to continue racing again next Tuesday night. Although you may have taken your boat out of the water by then, please keep in mind that there is always room for you to crew on other boats if you would like to join us.
