We're surprised to report that there were actually 14 boats that participated in the Bay Shore Invitational Fall Series races. Unfortunately, this is another record for the 2018 season, but not one that we care to see broken. (EVER) With a race cancellation, torrential downpours, heavy and light winds, we can't imagine a series with worse conditions than we experienced in the fall series.
There were two groups of boats involved in ties for the Bay Shore fall series. The 6th & 7th place and the 12th & 13th place boats. Ties were broken according to the methods described in the SBCC yearbook.
Thanks to those of you who participated and we completely understand why most of your elected not to. We hope to see you all at the starting line for some extended season racing on October 9th with perfect fall sailing conditions.

We're happy to report that there were 26 boats that participated in the Bay Shore Late Summer series races. This is another record series turnout for the 2018 season. There could have been more boats participating but there is a shortage of crew. If you or someone you know are interested in crewing, please sign up on the sbccracing.org website using the "Crew Connect" feature or contact Gary and Ted at sailboatracing@gmail.com
There were three groups of boats involved in ties for the Bay Shore Late Summer Series. The 2nd & 3rd place the 12th & 13th place and the 17th, 18th & 19th place boats. The series results were calculated and ties were broken according to the methods described in the SBCC yearbook.
There will be adjustments made to eight boats for the next series. The new "Starting Time Offset" spreadsheet will be published on the sbccracing.org website. Make sure you print out the new spreadsheet which will be titled "Fall Invitational 2018." Thank you for participating and we hope to see you all at the starting line next week.

There were 4 pairs of tied boats in the Early Summer Series. The 3rd and 4th place, the 12th & 13th place, the 16th & 17th place and the 20th & 21st place boats. The series results were calculated and ties were broken according to the methods described in the SBCC yearbook.

We're excited to report that there were 19 boats that participated in the Spring series. The first series of the season historically has had the lowest turnout of any of the series. Despite the poor weather we've experienced this spring, the enthusiasm has been high. We're really optimistic that the following series of races are going to have record breaking turnouts. We can't wait!
It was an interesting first series of the season. There were 6 boats involved in a tie. The 11th, 12th & 13th place boats were tied with each other and the 15th, 16th & 17th place boats were tied with each other. Series scores were calculated and ties were broken according to the methods described in the SBCC yearbook.
